Outdated Google Earth shot of Uptown and Victory
Google Earth has a lot of interesting features, but its images of Dallas are woefully out of date, and many of the best features hardly work here. The images of Uptown, for example, show nothing but green fields where the Ritz-Carlton hotel now stands. Construction on that project began nearly two and a half years ago, which means those are some pretty old images. Even the W Hotel, where construction began more than three and a half years ago, is empty.
