The Metroplex Technology Business Council recently announced the winners of its annual Tech Titans Awards.
While these are basically business awards, average geeks and gadget fans will be interested in one of the winners.
David Hanson, robotics designer extraordinaire at Richardson-based Hanson Robotics Inc., walked away with the inaugural Innovator Award, which “recognizes the pioneering efforts of a person, team or organization that has created breakthrough ideas, processes or products in the disciplines of arts, education, electronics, energy, environment, medicine or science.”
That’s a high-falutin’ way of saying David Hanson builds really cool robots.
