Aliph’s Jawbone Bluetooth Headset

I have 2 bluetooth headsets in my stable of gadgets. One is the Step 1150 bluetooth headset and the other is the very small footed Jabra JX10 bluetooth headset. All of them were light on my ears but they had one drawback. You could hardly hear the person the other end when you are outside in a cafe or road side. Sure the volume could be increased but you would have to shout sometimes to get heard. So if you are looking for a solution to this problem, then you might want to have a look at the cool noise-cancelling Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth Headset. Not exactly something new, but still it looks hot.

The Aliph Jawbone is a futuristic looking Bluetooth headset that uses a built-in transducer that uses your actual jawbone. What this does is allows a unique way to for noise cancellation: If your jaw isn’t moving, sound is not picked up by the mic. Its the first adaptive bluetooth headset for use with mobile phones, employs revolutiionary Noise Shield technology originally developed for the US military to virtually eliminate background noise.

According to the-gadgeteer, you don’t need an ear hook on the Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth Headset if it looks unsightly as you can change ear pads to see which ones fits into your ear. It did not fair well during the wind test near the aircon but it manages to block out a lot of noise like the car audio during car trips. This headset goes for $120 which would be a tad expensive for some people.
