Verizon sent me a snazzy brochure this weekend alerting me to the fact that the long-promised menu update for their TV service will be trickling out soon. Since the menu update seems to be rolling out on a state-by-state basis, I assume this alert applies to all of Texas.
No word on exactly how soon us Texans will be getting the upgrade, but I’ve gone from being intrigued to nervous, based on the comments I received from Fios TV subscribers in other states in my last post on the topic.
Of course, even if the menu update works flawlessly, what most Fios subscribers are probably pining for are new HD channels. And the brochure didn’t say “boo” about that.
