Time Warner sends words that the new competitor for CNBC is now available on digital channel 228 on the Digital Class Tier.
I went to the Fox Business site to see who else is currently offering the channel, which launched today. This is the most extensive list I could find:
You can also see us on multiple cable operators, including: Time Warner (TWX); Comcast; Charter, and Direct TV.
I haven’t seen the channel yet and have no idea how it will fare, but I’m disappointed they didn’t opt to broadcast in high-def.
With a new channel, there’s no need to figure out how to integrate old footage recorded in standard definition. I would think the Fox people would even be able to claim that they could cram more financial info onto the screen than the SD broadcasters at CNBC.
Oh, well.
