Want to study with some of the nation’s best professors without paying tuition or leaving your house? Now you can. The University of California at Berkeley has put up about 300 hours of lectures, mostly in the sciences, and promises more to come.

These are the first such videos up on YouTube, but UCal and other schools have already put material up on Google Video and iTunes. Indeed, iTunes has quite an impressive assortment of courses (some video, some audio-only) from top schools like Stanford and Yale.

Click above for the first of a series of lectures on physics or browse around for what interests you most but don’t claim there’s nothing productive you could be doing this weekend.
