I’m not sure why this guy inspires such eternal devotion, but New York Magazine reports that Ben “Dude, you’re getting a Dell” Curtis is currently slinging drinks at the Tortilla Flats bar in New York City.
So basically he’s at the midway point of his downward spiral into oblivion. The guy even has a band, and Curtis notes that “we’ve decided to take a little time off to record our EP and package ourselves properly.”
That sounds…promising.
I think we all know what has to happen next: Dell brings him back for a triumphant encore performance as Dell Dude.
C’mon, they brought back Michael Dell. Surely Curtis was equally instrumental in the company’s one-time dominance.
But let’s make him a little older, a little wiser.
Suggested new catchphrase: “My friend, you will be acquiring a Dell computer system.”
