The online TV site Hulu already provides a wide range of programs from its owners, Fox and NBC. Now, it may be on the verge of getting far more programming from Warner Brothers TV, which has produced dozens of hit shows from Dallas to Full House to Friends.
Rumors about negotiations have been circulating for a couple days now, but a story in The Hollywood Reporter gets confirmation right from the horse’s mouth: “It’s more likely than not that we’re going to make a deal,” WBTV Group president Bruce Rosenblum said.
Hulu, which has won consistent praise from technology reviewers, is still in private beta. Folks who’d like to try it out should go to the site and submit their email addresses. The rest of use should be free to use the free site in a few weeks.
