The open-source video team at Miro has launched a new Web video tool to compete with Joost. Unlike its better-know competitor, Miro places no DRM on its videos, which come both from professional studios and ordinary users.
Miro appears to have slightly less professional content than Joost, but it has more stuff overall and it has some high-definition programming, which Joost doesn’t have yet. It’s certainly worth a look.
