Looks like the market for tiny laptops is getting bigger.
According to LinuxDevices.com, low-cost computer maker Everex is going to launch its “Cloudbook” laptop with a 7-inch screen early next year to compete with the 7-inch Eee PC from Asus.
The machine will apparently include a standard 30-gigabyte hard drive, unlike the four gigabyte solid state drive in the Eee, and one version of the Cloudbook will include a touchscreen.
Look for the Cloudbook without the touchscreen to land around January 15 for $400, with the touchscreen model presumably costing a bit more.
Looks like I’ll have to redo my photo collage of diminutive laptops.
