The March issue of Consumer Reports contains a comprehensive rundown of 101 LCD, plasma and rear projection sets of varying sizes.
The tally is far too big to publish here (and is only available in the paper magazine), but I have posted the mag’s top picks for the three different types of HD television after the break.
If you’re too lazy for that, though, here’s the pith of the gist: if you want a plasma, go with Pioneer or Panasonic. If you want an LCD or rear projection unit, take a look at Sony or Samsung.
