As my colleagues over at the Airline Biz blog have noted, Farecast just started predicting whether international ticket prices will rise or fall.
Actually, the new service from Farecast does its domestic predictions one better: it lets you look six months into the future, much further than the domestic service.
I’ve found that Farecast is pretty good at determining whether ticket prices will rise or fall, but not so good at finding the best prices currently available. Thus, I use it to figure out when to buy and then head over to Farechase, the site that many think to be the best at finding good deals.
