Here’s my review from the paper today of SageTV’s new HD Media Extender that lets you watch videos stored on your PC or on the Web on your television.
As the name implies, this device is designed to let you watch high-def videos at up to 1080p resolution, and the device works pretty well and generates excellent visuals when you are watching HD videos.
The problem, though, is that SageTV doesn’t offer an online video store, like iTunes, so you have to supply your own videos.
Still, a solid piece of technology.
