Google introduced a visual representation of the heavens last year, when it added Google Sky to Google Earth. Now, it’s introduced a Web-based version of Google Sky that doesn’t require you to download any software.

This doesn’t look as cool as the WorldWide Telescope site that Microsoft plans to launch in the very near future, but it should be enough to tide over astronomy buffs.
