Amazon sent me an e-mail yesterday to let me know that it has cut the prices on all of its Samsung 1080p DLP televisions in preparation for newer models about to arrive.
While DLP isn’t as thin and sexy as plasma or LCD, newer “slim” DLPs (including those now on sale at Amazon) are much svelter than older models that you may have seen.
The trade off for those extra inches is that you can buy a much larger screen for much less money than an equivalent size LCD or plasma.
