I’ll be heading out to the Cozymel’s Mexican restaurant in Grapevine this weekend to test out a new technology from Dallas firm Tabletop Media.
Every table has a computer screen that lets you pay for your meal electronically without having to flag down a waiter.
The news release that I received suggested that not every table has the device, so if you want to check it out for yourself, you may need to request one of the computerized tables before you sit down.
I’ll be posting a review of the technology next week, in conjunction with an article about Tabletop being written by our food industry reporter, Karen Robinson-Jacobs.
