If you happen to be out at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship in Las Colinas this week, you might notice some gigantic video screens displaying scores, stats, video coverage of the tournament and other tidbits.
Those screens — including a mammoth 36 ft. by 13.5 ft. display at the 18th hole — are courtesy of Keller-based GoVision.
The image at the top of this post is one of GoVision’s screens at the Shell Houston Open.
Apparently, no major sporting event is complete nowadays without a stupendously huge video screen, such as the 60-yard display that will grace the new Dallas Cowboys stadium when that monument to sweaty fat guys opens in 2009.
