For those who missed it, the travel site Mobissimo responded very quickly to my complaint that its hotel search lacks a way to view recommendations on a map.
We have concentrated on this release on airfare search. We’ll be releasing new hotel UI this year that will take into account proximity search or geographic location search and many more functions. If you are interested we will be very happy to contact you with a preview before the launch.

That won’t help me find a hotel in London this summer, but it will keep me coming back to look at the site. Actually, I probably would have come back anyway. I’m a sucker for sites that keep trying new things, and Mobissimo clearly does that.
