The nerd kingdom lost a hero this week when cinema special effects wizard Stan Winston died too young at the age of 62.
Winston worked on just about every great sci-fi movie of the last 20-plus years, including the perhaps the greatest sci-fi action movie ever: Aliens.
So it’s only fitting that this life-size Alien statue has surfaced for sale this week.
Sure it costs $5,200 (plus shipping), but not only would you be honoring a great man, you’d also be purchasing a guaranteed robber-deterrent.
Just position this thing behind your front door, add a fog machine and subdued lighting on a trip wire rigged to the door, and any thief that bursts in will expire immediately from a heart attack.
