
I’ve been catching bits and pieces of the high definition “When We Left Earth” NASA documentary on the Discovery Channel, and it’s quite impressive.
Even casual space aficionados will be familiar with most of the events, but what’s really interesting is to see all the high-quality video footage from those 1960s- and 70s-era spaceflights.
The videos from the post-Apollo 13 lunar missions, in particular, have a stunning amount of detail.
Cool images are something of a specialty for NASA.
