This looks nifty.

Panasonic has just announced their “free angle” HDMI cable, which looks ideal if you want to mount your HDTV on the wall, but your TV doesn’t have any HDMI outlets facing down.

The cable is coming out in August. No word on price (although my guess is “expensive.”)

But cheaper copycat cables will almost certainly be on monoprice not long after.
