Having just dismissed the importance of adding offline access to Gmail and Gcal, I’ll highlight a new Google feature that should prove more helpful to many users: the addition of templates to Google Docs.
There are 309 templates that are currently available and they seem to cover most of the basics: cover letters, business cards, expense forms, etc.
Some of them look pretty basic. Others look very nice. I’ve never been much of a template user, but I know a lot more people who do use them than people who spend a lot of time using a computer with no Internet access.
