Given that they can’t even get the official software working, I certainly wouldn’t try this on my phone just yet.
Frankly, with the App Store up and running, I’m not even too sure why you’d want to do this. Is there geek cachet in getting an iPhone 3G up and running on T-Mobile? (I assume you can’t get a jail-broken phone to work on Verizon or Sprint no matter what because of the CDMA/GSM divide)
