Though wonderful in many ways, e-mail just isn’t right for back-and-forth communication. Instant messaging is much better, which is why BlackBerry users should be happy to hear that they can now use Windows Live Messenger on their handsets.

The screen shots make it look easy to use, and the very early reviews are positive. If you use Windows Live Messenger in your office, this looks like a good productivity tool.
Even if you don’t, you can at least get BlackBerry-toting friends to sign up for the service and use it to save on text messaging fees.
