A computer network attack at the University of Texas at Dallas might have exposed Social Security numbers and other personal information for 9,100 individuals, school officials stated today.
A security breach in UTD’s personal network might have exposed Social Security numbers along with names, addresses, email addresses or telephone numbers, officials said.
Harumph, harumph. Terrible and horrible, etc., heads must roll, and so forth.
But I had to crack a grin when I noticed that this article about hacking was written by Dallas Morning News staff reporter… Holly Hacker!
And yes, that is her real name.
