Time Warner Cable adds 11 HD channels in 12 North Texas towns

- TBS HD - Channel 744
- History Channel HD - Channel 745
- Food Network HD - Channel 752
- HGTV HD - Channel 753
- A&E HD - Channel 754
- Discovery HD - Channel 756
- Animal Planet HD - Channel 757
- National Geographic HD - Channel 771
- Versus / Golf HD - Channel 786
- Fox Sports SW HD - Channel 787
These are the same channel that Dallas and other cities started getting a few months back. New cities get the upgrades at TWC completes its rolling improvement work around the region.
Customers in towns that don’t yet receive these HD channels will be getting them “in the near future”, TWC says. Customers in towns that already have these channels will receive more HD channels “this year.”
Timing Update: From TWC spokesman Gary Underwood, “The carrollton, arlington and addison areas are the communities which still haven’t received these channels - I don’t have an exact date, but they will be launched in the immediate future.”
