New Nintendo DS expected tomorrow that will include a camera and MP3 playback

Looks like Nintendo — the company so famously opposed to the concept of digital convergence that the Wii can’t even play DVD movies — is jumping on the multimedia bandwagon.
All the signs point to Nintendo unveiling tomorrow (Thursday) a redesigned Nintendo DS handheld system that, in addition to playing games, also includes a digital camera and the capability to play back music.
I’m going to go out on a very short limb here and predict that this gizmo (assuming it does come out before Christmas) will be the hottest gadget of the holiday season.
